Verizon's new Android handset, the Droid Charge, goes on sale tonight at midnight. The handset (made by samsung of course) runs Android 2.2 and features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1GHz processor, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front side. However, this phone is really gonna charge you (excuse the pun), at 300 u.s. dollars this is not the phone for a everyday phone user.

Androidify yourself
Hey guys, lately i've been trying to find some apps to keep me entertained on the bus/subway. I have compiled a list of 2 great time waster apps that keep me entertained on that long flight or keep my mind off that disgusting smell in the bus seat behind me, so, here they are...
1. Androidify
Don't you just wish you were good enough at photo editing to be able to make a android version of yourself for your facebook or twitter account well, now you don't have to be! Androidify is a fantastic android app made by google which lets you customize the green robot. Basically, you start off with the classic android logo then you can resize body parts and add clothes/hair/accesories using the idiot proof interface. The amount of time i've spent on this pointless app is depressing. This app is available on the market or on your nearest file-sharing site.
2. Atomic bomber
Atomic bomber is possibly my favourite android game ever. It is a never ending game where you are an atomic bomber (hence the name) bombing a whole lot of army bases (each base is a new wave). You control the plane by tapping which direction you want it to go in and you drop a bomb by pressing a button in the left corner. Be prepared for hours of bombing fun.

Phones n fairytales
Once upon a time there was a shockingly slow man called browser. He was dumb, slow and ever so laggy. Everyone in the village (which was called android by the way) wanted the man replaced by a fast, efficient man like chrome (a man from another village), however, the village leader didn't change it. Soon after the villagers rebelled and started getting new men in like opera mini and dolphin. But still the men were just not smart enough, they were better but still not great. Then came xscope. A fast, efficient, smooth man with many other qualities such as full tabbed browsing and multitouch. Soon after coming he bet down all the other browsers and earned the respect of many, however, he still needs more support and respect from villagers like you. Support him by downloading him from the market and rid the world of that slow man called browser forever.

Toshiba Regza 10.1" tablet
Toshiba have recently released a new 10" dual core tablet which runs android 3.0 honeycomb. With a whopping 1gb of ram and a 1280 x 800 display this tablet is something to die for. The screen for this tablet is said to be an “ Adaptive Display ” which works better in outdoor conditions , providing a superbly clear image. In terms of software and services, the tablet will integrate with Toshiba HDTV , Blu-ray players, laptops and other technology. It was recentley priced at $700 u.s dollars which is remarkably cheap for a tablet pc of this power.

Desire HD review
The desire hd is a high end smartphone made by htc. it is running Android 2.2 with the custom sense UI. it's a buttery smooth phone and showed absolutely no lag in the various HD apps we threw at it.
the homescreen has 7 different screens with customisable wallpapers and of course widgets. one cool feature of this phone is, by tapping the home button twice, you zoom out so you can view all your homescreens at the same time. As all android phones have, this has full multitasking and you can access the apps currently running by pulling down the notification bar.
This beast sports a 1ghz snapdragon proccessor so don't expect to have to exit any apps because of slow loading times. It houses 768 mb of ram and a 4.3" wvga capacative touch screen. The only problem we had with this phone is the rather limited 1.5 gb of storage space, however, this can easily upgraded by a micro sd card.
Overall this phone is a great buy for more serious smartphone users, however, if you don't need all this power I would reccomend to buy a cheaper phone, such as the HTC wildfire of the ideos *5.
