Apad 2 review

The first thing you're going to think after opening your apad 2 is "ipad!" However, for better or for worse, the differences are huge. First of all, the screen size. The Apad 2 has a 7 inch, multitouch, resistive display unlike the capacitive heat sensing 10 inch screen of the ipad. This means you're going to have to press slightly harder on the screen but you'll have the advantage of being able to use a stylus.

Secondly, of course, the OS. This tablet is running android version 2.1 which is a relatively recent release of the Google operating system. The experience overall is quite smooth but with a bit of lag on some more resource intensive apps. On the subject of apps, the apad 2 comes with the android marketplace built in and also some pre-installed, usually paid applications.

Overall the Apad 2 is a great device and well worth the mere $300 dollars it costs.
